LIONS FOR LAMBS

Lions for Lambs” is a drama that is looking at the Afghanistan and Iraq wars to see if they have any credibility left. What is happening in the Middle East is that they are losing the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan because they have to spend $12 billion a Month. “Lions for Lambs” is a drama that is critical of the war because it has an agenda. It wants to tell people the other side of story so they get an idealistic picture of what is going on in the Middle East. It is based on ideology which is to democratize the Middle East. Tom Cruise plays a Senator Jasper Lrring who supports the war on terror and Meryl Streep plays a journalist who is critical of the war in lraq, because of the incompetent US government Mismanagement of the war. Also you have Robert Redford plays Professor Stephen Malley who is idealistic about society because he wants change Todd Hayes so he can make something out of his life, but two of the professor’s other students are in Afghanistan fighting the Taliban because they think it is a right thing to do for their country. The students Ernest Rodriguez and Arian Finch are also idealistic about want they are doing in Afghanistan.
The movie is liberal propaganda telling a story that is fiction because the US government sent the troops to Afghanistan to meet an agenda to protect US interests in the Middle East. Janine Roth, the journalist who is writing a story critical of the war for U S A Today, New York post, Boston Globe, and Guardian, gave Lions for Lambs a bad review because it is liberal propaganda that is saying there are good wars and bad wars. Michael Pena and Ernest Rodriguez are idealistic and were sent to Afghanistan, but Professor Malley was in Vietnam due to conscription. Vietnam was a different kind of war being fought in a different time, as was the first world war. Because he is idealistic Professor Malley thinks he can change society. Senator Jasper Lrring also wants to change the world by fighting for plutocracy in the US and over who controls the world. The liberal media was critical of Lions for Lambs for being honest about the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, because the First World War was a war to end all wars. I would give Lions for Lambs one star.

Apec : A Summit or Farce

The world leaders attended a APEC conference in Sydney were Prime Minister John Howard,Hassanal Bolkiah Sultan of Brunei, and Stephen Harper Prime Minister of Canade, George Bush President of U.S, Vliadimir Putin President of Russia, Hu Jintao President of China, Chen Shui Bian President of Taiwan, Nguyen Minh Triet President of Vietnam, Surayud Chulanont Prime Minister of Thailand, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono President of lndonesia, Michelle Bacheiet President of Chile, Lee Hsien Loong Prime Minister of Singapore, Roh Moo-Hyun President of Korea, Gloria Macapagal Arroyo President of Philippines, Alan Garcia President of Peru, the APEC conference has cost taxpayers $65 million for wellness training and smart pass, identification system, and Sydney residents will have put with a$250 million security blanket around Sydney. The APEC leaders will take home with them souvenirs, and they have photographic services that cost taxpayers $105,000 because it is a binge. The meeting were hold at the Sydney Opera House and Sdyney Convention Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, Government House. They had fireworks at APEC. And they put a logo on the Sydney Habour Bridge.

The Chaser boys were masquerading as a Canadian delegation and got through two police road checkpoints to George Bush's hotel. One of the Chasers was dressed up as Osama Bin Laden. Groups from the far left were demonstrating against a new world order in which corporatists are running the show. Part of Sydney was closed off from the public because it was an important event for Australia. The authorities put 3 kilometres of five foot high fencing round inner Sydney to keep out the public from the security zone and there were hundreds of police and media are all over the place in Hyde Park so as to prevent the protesters from getting on to the road. The protest group included the Socialist Alliance, the National Union of Students, the Communist party of Australia, and the Greens. The protesters marched from Belmore Park to Goulburn street, but were blocked by police who had the 300 face-recognition surveillance cameras and 31 state transit buses, which could be used to detain people who caused trouble for the authorities. The Special Branch is taking down names of people on the blacklist to be excluded from the security zone。Roads were closed off without sufficient warning. They declared September 7 a public holiday for the Sydney metropolitan area, Penrith, and Campbelltown. Sydney Harbour Bridgewas closed off too. Because the new laws came into force from August 30 to September. The government also signed a free trade agreement with China and Russia. They will have open trade and they agreed to establish the Asia pacific network for energy and technology and fossil fuels will continue to be used for regional and global energy needs. They will have open trade and they agreed to establish the Asia Pacific network for energy and technology. Fossil fuels will continue to be used for regional and global energy needs. But the APEC leaders also did a deal on the largest polluters to cut back on greenhouse by 2012 which will not be met because the green agenda is too extreme. It is a sell out of Australia. They can export uranium to Russia because the agreement between Russia and Australia is that the Russians will not export uranium to lran and Syria when they could have nuclear power plants in Australia. Because the Chinese were in on it too so they have the liquefied natural gas deal with Australia worth $45 billion and will be sold to Petro China, but Woodside Petroleum will be sold. Petroleum will sell two million tonnes of LNG a year to Petro Chine for 15-20 years with the deal set to begin between 2013 and 2015, which will be worth about $7 billion. They all so wanted to lower trade barriers because George Bush wanted democrat union in Asia to keep under control so that countries like Burma do not go to far. Because John Howard will go all the way with George Bush on larq it is that they have agenda to keep the troops in larq to meet Bush’s goal is democracies Middle East that they have an ulterior motive in keeping things way they are because it will benefit them. When Bush called Australian troops Austrians that he could not remember who was fighting in larq and Afghanistan, But with the Mujahideen controlling most of the county, but they have can not control part of Afghanistan because of the opium trade in that is going over to the US. When Bush could not remember whether it was OPEC or APEC summit because it had something to do with oil and Vladimir Putin was the first sense cold war to visit Australia.
Bob Hawke was the Prime Minister who was the first to have APEC in the Asian region, but the US hold APEC in 1993 and did it by establishment of the Leaders Summit, but it has became an institution now they have regular meeting of finance ministers. And they hold Additional meetings so they can improve policy in areas as quarantine and customs, administration, and technical standards. Australia also established close links with President Suharto of lndonesia and Hawke-Keating signed an Australia-lndonesia Security Agreement in 1995.And Gareth Evans was Foreign minister at the time when he played the role in the Cambodian peace process, and Kevin Rudd giving an address in Mandarin to President Hu Jintao. As of 2004 APEC had 21 members: Australia, Brunei, Chile, Hong Kong, China lndonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, United States, Because Australian government want to integrate trade with South East Asia that it was a Labour government put economic issues to centre, But Rudd Labour government put APEC at the front of it agenda.

Banana Republic

It is a plutocracy in Australia because it is not a real democracy in this country. If it was they would have referendums. If they did it would be in the best interest of the Australian people. They will decide what’s in their interests. Back in 1996 I voted Liberal for the first time because I did not like Keating, as he caused the recession we had to have. But in 1990 I voted Labor because at the time things were different than now. They needed reform in industrial relations and tax to become more flexible so they work smarter. I wish Howard a happy birthday. Why did thay heckle him on his birthday? Because they are bunch of fat rounded union thugs who like to get their way by bullying and name calling. Not everyone will put up with their bullshit. I think if we reform the electoral system they should have petition initiated referendum s and it will take out self interest of the state.
Government is spending $45million on a propaganda campaign to introduce the new workplace laws, which have been supported by big business so they can cut wages and conditions at the lower end of the food chain. The ACTU want to keep the old system in place. But back in 1990 interest rates were 17.5 per cent because in 1983 interest rates were 15 per cent and with inflation running through the economy and driving up prices for food and services but with rise of foreign debt at $500billion and household debt at $1billion.because the Labor market will have shortages in the services sector and retail. Australia has an underclass of man who can not find work in the Labor market because they lack skills in the workplace. The welfare –to –work reforms should have target the right people for the job.
The Beattie Labor governments forced amalgamations on councils will cut number of councils by stealth.
But Peter Beattie has failed on health and water, police, public housing, and he has mismanagement the state. Because Queensland is overregulated state in Australia they have to control everything that is out of their reach.
